What an intriguing photo - like the kind they hand out in a creative writing class and ask you to write about what you think is happening - a short season indeed.
Yes this is my photo. The house was torn down yesterday. The girl in the foreground is one of the most gentle, wise little girls I've ever met, happy to spend time with pets and be a little girl. The boys are in a very big hurry to grow up.
Very true about the short phase of childhood. I enjoyed my childhood so much sometimes, I wish I could revisit it through a time machine if I could find one. :)

That's a very evocative photograph. Very sad, mourning the death of childhood.

This works. Is this photo yours? If it is, then you are a wizard.

It seems out of another age.
fabulous shot. sets off twenty zillion story lines.
I may end up repeating "fabulous" here so let me use another word for the encore: great shot, bob.
Great shot.....childhood never ends, if you don't want it to. ; )
Childhood is way too short!
WE were in such a hurry to grow up.
Silly us ;)
'sorry to hear the house was torn down..........It's the forground that remains.

Beautifully composed shot. All the more powerful for being in black & white
