Hi, Bob, I am really happy to see that you are back after your hiatus. I love green too and I think Robert Frost expressed it best in his poem, "Nature's first green is gold, her hardest hue to hold...."
Noticed you were gone there for a while. Glad to see you back. My grandson and I planted a pecan tree in the backyard, Arbor Day weekend, and it was fully into its green flowering. They are lovely.
The green flowers that blossom every year on common trees like oaks, maples, and the poplar, (shown here) are among my favorite blossoms.
